Q₁. Derive the relationship between duty, base period and delta(Δ).
Q₂. A crop needs 10 cm water during its base period of 100 days. Calculate the duty required for that crop.

Q₃.Find the delta(Δ)  of the crop when its duty is 864 ha/cumsec on the field, the base period of this crop is 120 days.

Q₄.The base period of paddy is 120 days. If the duty of this crop is 900 ha/cumsec, find the value of delta(Δ).

Q₅.The Culturable Command Area of a canal is 10,000 ha. The area grows only two crops-rice in the Kharif season and wheat in the Rabi season. The design discharge of the canal is based on the rice requirements, which has an irrigated area of 2500 ha, base period of 150 days and delta(Δ)  of 130 cm. The maximum permissible irrigated area (in ha) for wheat, with a base period of 120 days and delta(Δ)  of 50 cm is:-

Q₁₁. For the growth of wheat/rice on the field of Mudwalwa village, Surveyor from Department of Agriculture Development(DAO) got the following data  for  Agri-Census 2022 AD.
i)Residential Area=1.00 ha

ii)Area covered by Barren Land=250m²

iii)Ditches covered the area=1200 m²

iv)Area covered By Rural Road=1005 m²

v) Forest Area=2 ha
vi)Canal works Covers =1605m²
Considering the above data, Compute GCA,CCA,NCA.

Calculate the ratio of useable cultivable area in Mudwalwa village.
